On April 7, 2015 at approximately 1:30am Officers with the Waterloo Police Department's Violent Crime Apprehension Team conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 2800 Block of W. 9th St. reference a traffic violation.  At that time Officers observed the front passenger reaching toward the floor board area of his seat.  The passenger was identified as twenty-five year old Tyrone Parrow Jr. of Waterloo.  Officers also observed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.  During a search Officers located a loaded 9mm semi-auto handgun underneath Parrow's seat.  Parrow was eventually booked into the Black Hawk County Jail for Carrying Weapons and for Possession of a Firearm as a Felon due to a previous domestic abuse conviction.
